Anchored ID Process
It’s time to transform your process as an instructional designer and claim your spot as the expert at the table.
Figuring out how to manage a learning and development project all on your own is challenging...
For a long time, I was in your shoes. No matter how many blogs and articles I was reading,
I couldn't figure out how to manage a project.
Over time, eventually, I got better at my job. In 2018, after spending 7 years freelancing full-time AND working full time I had to make a decision to either stay as an internal practitioner or go full-time freelance. I decided for me, being a full-time freelancer was the best option.
But let me be clear…this is NOT a story or course about freelancing.
After my first year of freelancing, I ended up with a full learning and development agency. I remember thinking “how did this happen?” It felt like it happened on accident…
After successfully delivering my first big project on my own, I realized I wanted MORE of this. But I knew, if I had any chance of not only repeating but growing these results year after year, I needed to develop a repeatable process.
After a while, I realized I had it all along in front of me. It was my process that every client walks through whenever they sign a project with Anchored Training.
Introducing…
The Anchored Instructional Design Process
FACT: Your customers, whether they are internal or external, want you to walk them through a process that is tried and true that will be able to get them from point A to point Z. They want YOU to own the project. Having a repeatable process will help you get there.
FACT: If you are changing how you start and work through each stage of your project, you will NEVER get to the point where you can really predict how long projects will take you, estimate project hours, put together a project plan, etc. Developing a process can help you break this habit.
FACT: You can be the best damn expert in ID, BUT if you can't manage a project properly you will NEVER get that seat. Developing a process can help you create a reliable project management system.
Here’s the thing friend, while the deliverables may be different, the actual process and how you take your clients from from A to B should be the same with each and every project that comes into your pipeline, and THIS is what helps you claim your seat at the table.
So friend, let's help you get that seat, and help you get out of anxiety and overwhelm.
Because you know what happens when you finally know how to manage and work through an instructional design project with ease?
-
You get hit with projects left and right and you don't need to freak out. You know how long projects will take and can scope and provide initial timelines within minutes.
-
You gain a reputation of being THE go-to person for ID/training projects, and you build your personal brand. And you know what happens when you build your personal brand? YOU GET REMEMBERED. Past clients bring you back when they need you, and colleagues who moved to other companies call you with new opportunities, which means MORE MONEY!
-
You spend less time stressing about how many hours something is going to take, creating a project plan, and how you are going to tell your boss or client you need an extension on your deadline…
-
You are exactly where you want to be.
Listen, not that I am not grateful for all of the experiences that have lead me to this point in my business, even the not-so-great experiences, but it took me a long time to develop this process. It has gone through years and years of adjusting and perfecting and now, I am so excited to be sharing this process to help you see success sooner rather than later!
Imagine being able to skip all this individual work and jump ahead by using a proven system that has given me a 7 figure business and has clients coming back for more work year after year in just 8 weeks…
